Good evening. How was your weekend? Ours was all about R&R, something much needed. Netflix was in use each day as well.
Today is the first, advent Sunday for those of us who had signed up to participate in Knit Equals Joy’s 2018 Mini Advent Swap. I almost forgot until I had by chance looked at my emails. This was the theme:
“Dec 2 – A treat – Edible or non-edible! Maybe your partner collects something or has a favorite something from out of town.”
I received Missy who lives two states up from me. I gave her these:

In one of the group’s threads, you answer a questionnaire and she had written that one of the flavors she had liked was dark chocolate. I immediately thought of our local, See’s Candy shop.
Paula, got me and boy did she hook it up! I love chocolate with nuts in it and these have the nuts my youngest isn’t allergic to so I could share with her and the crew also.
I even got a bonus, that enamel pin! I’m going to need to make a canvas project bag so I can show off her pin and others I’ve collected.
The Lindt is already gone, eaten after our late lunch of pan-fried, cod fillets and oven-baked potatoes. Thank you, Paula!
Off to work a bit on tomorrow’s book post. It’s already 7:10 pm here. It will be hard to go to sleep tonight for sure and to wake up tomorrow.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. Thanks for popping in. TTYS.
Ooo we love Sees chocolate! A little jelly you have a local store 🙂 That pine is adorable and I can’t wait to see your collection.

Godiva is my favorite candy store; you can go in once a month and get a freebie from the refrigerated case. But See’s is local here as my town is a bit limited for foodies.

What an adorable pin. The See’s candy looks yummy as do your Cadbury and Lindor. Glad you got some R&R this weekend.

I finally see the word in the pin! How cute! And what yummy chocolates you gave and received. Will you be posting each day of Advent? It will fun to see what else makes up these Advent gifts.
